![]() I was looking for this answer this morning, and I never found it, so now that I've played through the quests, I decided to be the answers I want to see in the world, lol. I hope this helps! I tried not to go into too many details, in order to avoid spoilers. There is a man outside a house in the Fisherman's Quarter talking about how he's going to die. ![]() There's one on the front of the harbor master's building. There are wanted posters scattered around town. Picking any of them up will start the quest. I think there's one somewhere near the laundry as well. I believe I found the first one near the entrance to Ward B, but I'm not 100% sure. There are five documents scattered around the building while playing as Holmes. The quest starts automatically when you hear them. As you explore, you'll overhear two people talking about a haunted warehouse. At the entrance to the shanytown area, there are several people on the edge of the water, gathered around a sick man. I found the first one while following tracks after unlocking the gate in the backyard. If you can put up with those frustrations, Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened otherwise has enough going for it that makes it worth experiencing.The Dreams of Children- Chapter One. The problem is that it keeps stumbling over itself, all too often preventing itself from moving at the pace it needs to. When the game does move at a steady pace and lets you enjoy the story and how effectively it blends Holmes with Cthulhu, it’s well worth experiencing. Though investigations can be satisfying when they finally come together, almost everything leading up to those moments of culmination and eureka is frequently dragged down by design that is either frustratingly opaque, repetitive, or unpolished. It’s just a shame that so much of what Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is trying to do on the gameplay front doesn’t land. Many of the investigation mechanics feel either poorly designed or poorly implemented Gameplay loop hinders the pacing Lacks technical and visual polish. Solid central premise Blends Holmes with Lovecraft quite effectively Successfully solving investigations can often be quite fun. ![]() Become Sherlock Holmes, and find yourself at the heart of the terrifying Cthulhu Mythos as you investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in Europe and the US.
